Bronx is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Bronx follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

In its current renovated form the park is inviting to all ages groups. The real gem is the recreation center when it opens back up with an indoor pool and other courts and fitness room amongst other spaces. In the meantime, this is a great gathering space for families with kids at the two playgrounds, baseball fields, outdoor track, and outdoor basketball courts that also turn into great spaces for roller skating meetups. There's a large ampitherater like space for large event gatherings and preaentations and pinic area as well. 5 stars when the center opens back up.

The dog park is my next area. I love to take my kids to get wet at the sprinklers. The baseball field is pretty large and you can play different sports. I would like to know about the pool section (indoors), is there a membership agreement or are walk-ins welcomed? I live close by and would love to take my kids to a pool. They never been in a pool or at least don't remember being in one as they were both very young. Answers to my question are very welcomed

Considering the insanely large amounts of litter and dog poop that people leave everywhere daily, the park staff does a great job keeping it clean. Lots of dogs off their leashes. It’s a nice park with different playgrounds, an amphitheater, baseball field, basketball court, running track, and dog run. Recreation center/pool has been closed for several years with renovation way past the timeline they’ve listed online. Would be beautiful if people just picked up after themselves.

Yet another great, accessible park just off the Bx4 or the Bx19; as well as a few other buses and trains. With its surprising size, multitude of things to do and see, and rather peaceful atmosphere, I highly recommend visiting this park, especially before winter and all the trees lose their pretty colors. Overall, I enjoyed myself every time I was there, and hopefully I'll be able to come here during a time when the recreation center is open so I can check that out.

A nice quiet and clean park! Needed to take a business call and found this park perfect! It was quiet, had nice new benches and just enough foot traffic that it isolated the noise of the city and they thought I was home. So that was a huge plus. The park was super clean, has an amphitheater, baseball field, playground! It’s such a nice place and def worth taking a rest in! Check it out and listen to the birds and admire the little purple flowers they have coming up. A gem in the Bronx!
